L A T I N  SOCIAL DANCE PARTY IN ROMANTIC WILLIMANTIC

Our first party to celebrate “Valentine’s day” was so successful that in February 2005 we decided to organize three more dance parties throughout the year. Four Latin music and dance lovers met to create a social and community event around dance. For the past two years our community has a permanent place to hold their monthly social dances in town. How would you benefit from this program:

  • I am offering a safe and friendly environment with those who are eager to have fun by learning or practicing the Latin dance steps, we offer dance training in several rhythms such as: Salsa, Guajira (cha-cha), Merengue, Bachata, Cumbia, and a little Rumba, Swing, and Regeatton.
  • Two dance lessons are offered, the first is designed for beginners and taught to individual participants, after these participants will learn how to dance the basic steps with a partner. This will give participants the opportunity to dance with other people. The second dance lesson is for intermediate levels and usually is taught with a partner.
  • We have selected an appropriate place for dancing, nice floating wooden floor, sound, excellent outside views, and a cozy place to hang out with our community!
